“Hello. Roy (original drummer here). The very first Naughties gig was in Eccles at the Trades club... Bob Williamson was in attendance and was flirting elastic bands at me from the side of the stage. We played The Gallery one night and in the afternoon when we turned up to set up and soundcheck we were told not to make a noise until the Quality Street Gang had finished their meeting upstairs! I also remember we played Salford Uni supporting Tariq Ali. The very first recordings of the band were made in Gar's cellar on Trafford Road in Eccles and I still have a recording of them transferred to CD. I also kept the promo posters and badges for some of the venues. Sadly, Gar died some years ago, Tweedy is still going strong living on the Isle of Wight. Dave and Iggy are still around and Dave is still playing with a couple of bands.”
